Whole30 at freshii

This post is inspired by my friends and co-workers who follow Whole30! I know first hand what it is like to go out to eat and not know what I CAN eat ... I hope to make it a little easier for anyone trying to make good choices when eating out!
 


Protein
*chicken, turkey, and steak are all hormone free, gluten free, dairy free.
Hard boiled eggs are a great choice also!

Dressings and Sauces (2 oz servings)
Olive oil - 0g *best choice

Here are some low sugar choices:
Buffalo Sauce - 1 g
Pico de Gallo - 1g
Asian Sesame - 2g
Lemon juice - 2g
Cilantro lime - 3g
Salsa - 3g
Red Pepper Sauce - 4g
*some are naturally occurring sugars

Salads & Wraps
* if you want a wrap, order a green wrap. It's made of steamed collard greens!

Buffalo - romaine, tomatoes, carrots, celery, buffalo sauce
*order without cheese and yogurt sauce

Cobb - field greens, romaine, avocado, bacon, tomatoes
*order without cheese, corn, and sub honey dijon dressing

Fiesta - field greens, avocado, pico de gallo, cilantro lime vinaigrette*
*order without bean, corn, and cheese

Market - field greens, spinach, avocado, beet slaw, apples, carrots
*order without quinoa, dried cranberries, and sub dressing

Metaboost - field greens, spinach, kale, mangoes, carrots, almonds,
*order without goat cheese, edamame, and sub balsamic vinaigrette

Ninja - spinach, romaine, cabbage, carrots, cucumbers, cilantro, *Asian sesame dressing (made with Tamari)
*order without the crispy wontons and edamame; sub sauce

Bowls

Mediterranean - field greens, red onions, Kalamata olives, cucumbers, roasted red peppers, tomatoes, cilantro, almonds, red pepper sauce
*replace quinoa with extra greens or kale, order without feta

Soups
*chicken broth is gf at most locations, but please double check. There is NO SUGAR in the chicken broth either, however, it does contain some corn and soy. Depending on how strict you are with your Whole30, you may choose to avoid the soups.

Southwestern - chicken broth, broccoli, tomatoes
*order without rice, corn, and cheese; sub other veggies ADD: chicken, cilantro, lime wedge and avocado for a Mexican tortilla style soup

Spicy lemongrass - spicy lemongrass broth, cabbage, carrots, tomatoes, mushrooms, cilantro
*order without noodles; sub extra veggies of choice; ADD: protein

Burritos *you can make the burrito in a green wrap (not grilled) or as a salad.

Baja - avocado, red onions, cilantro, green onions, cabbage, salsa, pico de gallo
*order without quinoa; sub for greens

Spicy Thai - cabbage, carrots, cilantro, spicy lemongrass sauce
*order without quinoa and edamame; sub for greens

All Juices are compliant!!! *fresh pressed daily
Carrot Zinger - carrot, apple, ginger

Green Energy - apple, cucumber, lemon, carrot, romaine, spinach, kale

Mighty Detox - pineapple, ginger, apple, celery, cucumber

Red Power - beets, lemon, ginger, carrot

Breakfast
* all breakfast burritos and pockets can be ordered as a bowl instead. *Scrambled Eggs contain dairy! Order hard boiled to be Whole30.
Burritos:
Ranchero - hard boiled eggs, avocado, cilantro, pico de gallo
*order without beans and cheese

Steak, Egg, and Cheese - hard boiled eggs, steak, tomatoes
*order without aged cheddar
Pockets:
Bacon, Egg, and Cheese - hard boiled eggs, smoked bacon, tomatoes
*order without aged cheddar

Spinach, Mushroom, and Cheese - hard boiled eggs, spinach, roasted red peppers, mushrooms
*order without goat cheese

**Smoothies all contain frozen yogurt; we have experimented with using one full banana in place of the fro yo. While the taste is great, the smoothie isn't very cold. We continue to try new ways to provide a dairy free solution!
